However, Martinez has been one of United’s standout players this season and Souness believes his side will be able to keep up. Erik ten Hag has been in worse shape since the 25-year-old was injure last month.

“I think their form has dropped a bit due to the absence of Lisandro Martinez. They have only won three of their six league games since he got injur against Sevilla.” Su said. Ness told the UFABET report.

Martinez arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax this summer in a deal worth up to £57million and came in for criticism as United lost their opening two games of the season, shipping six goals.

“I thought Martinez would get hit in the Premier League because of his physique.

I still believe that will be a problem for him going forward – but he’s been a standout player for United. and has a great influence on those around them.”
